Hazel Mell Williams died on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Obie Mell and Huldie Leigh (Duffel) Kidd. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Sequard Nash Williams; and a son, Jimmy Sequard Williams.
Survivors include four children, Donnie Williams, Carolyn (Sherman) Hawkes, Brenda (Shorty) Arrendale, and Jerry Nash Williams; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 25, at Union Baptist Church with the Revs. Billy Owensby and Ben Smith officiating. Interment was in the Church Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of the arrangements.
