Thelma Dezes, 94, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012, in the Northridge Nursing Facility.

She was born in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of the late Robert and Clara Sass.

Survivors include a son, Gordon Van Fossen (Sue), Commerce; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 28, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Carlton Allen and the Rev. Henry Webb officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning prior to the service.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
