Jerry Bray (11-21-12)

COMER - Jerry Wayne Bray, 42, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

He was born on March 13, 1970, the son of Larry Bray, Athens, and the late Jerrie Booth Bray and worked for a number years with Stiles Heating and Air. Jerry was preceded in death by a sister, Regina Leigh Bray; and grandparents, Earnest and Clara Booth and Henry and Lorine Bray.

Survivors in addition to his father, include children, Daniel Bray and Torrie Bray; and sisters, Donna Carey (Tommy) and Sherry Saxon.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 25, at Lord & Stephens, Madison Chapel, with Terry Mize and Randall Starret officiating. Interment will follow in Colbert City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 24. Pallbearers will be Brook Podskoc, Dusty Carey, Cory Childers, Ferrell Bray, Josh Worley, and Justin Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Heather Rhoe, Rosha Blake, and Hunter Hicks.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Madison Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
