MAYSVILLE - Hilda Hautell Jewell, 88, died Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
She was born in Maysville, the daughter of the late Hubert and Elizabeth Beck Ray. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church and was retired from Dupont. Mrs. Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Lee Jewell; and a son, Lamar Jewell.
Survivors include a daughter, Sara Ivey, Blue Ridge; sons, Mike Jewell, Maysville, and Douglas Jewell, Mocksville, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Scott Smith and David Bridges officiating. Interment will follow in Cabin Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 10, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
