Charlie Stell (11-7-12)

WINDER – Charlie Stell, 26, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

Born in Clarke County, he was the son John Stell Jr. and Genene Stell of Winder. He was a 2005 graduate of Winder Barrow High School. He served in the National Guard for six years and was owner of Stapler Services. Mr. Stell was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles Stapler Saunders and John (Sr.) and Juanita Stell.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, John Stell III and Audrey Stell, Jefferson; sister, Carrie Stell Ogle, Winder; niece, Molly Stell, Jefferson; and grandmother, Eunice Saunders, Winder.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, at 11 a.m. at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Jason Britt and Thomas Massey officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, November 9, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 223 Rosa L. Parks Ave., Suite 301, Nashville, TN 37203, or Come Alive Ministries, P.O. Box 39, Winder, GA 30680.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
