Myra Mae Allgood (10-31-12)

STOCKBRIDGE - Myra Mae Graham Allgood, 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.

She was the daughter of the late Harvey W. Graham, Sr. and Clara Mae Wright Graham, and stepdaughter of the late Izora Christian Graham of Comer. Her mother died when she was only six days old and her paternal grandparents, the late Robert Franklin Graham and the late Sallie Erma Burkhalter Graham, raised her in their home. Her maternal grandparents were the late David Montie Wright and the late Nora Puckett Wright. Myra was also predeceased by a brother, Clarence Samuel Graham, Sr., of China Grove, N.C.

Survivors include a son, Roger G. Allgood, Stockbridge; brother, Harvey W. Graham, Jr.; sisters, Rosa Lee Huff and Lula Belle Graham, all of Comer; four nephews; 10 nieces; two 94-year-old aunts, L.E. Huff, Stockbridge, and Esther Pullen, Royston; and her beloved dog Higgins.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 3, at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, Stockbridge, with the Rev. Terry Graham officiating. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
