ELBERTON – Martha Clark Fowler, 83, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.
Born in Elbert County on February 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Callie Craft Clark. She was a retired representative with Southern Bell and a member of the Elberton First Baptist Church. Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her husband, William Andrew “Andy” Fowler; siblings, Edwin Clark, Jim Clark, Wilson Clark, Bobby Rogers, Blandena Attaway, Mary Helen Kreiser, and Estelle Holloman.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Joel Floyd, Comer, Debbie and Joey Colley, Bowman, and Dianne and Roger Dove, Elberton; grandchildren, Justin and Crystal Floyd, Trevor Floyd, Andrew Floyd, Hunter Floyd, Jeremy Massey, Josh and Julie Massey, Seth and Meghan Massey, Caleb Massey, Andrea Massey, Jonathan Dove, and Katelyn Dove; three great-grandchildren, Justine Floyd, Olivia Massey and Elin Massey; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held Saturday, November 3, at 11 a.m., in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The Fowler family is at the residence, 23 Laurel Dr., and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 2.
