COLBERT – Paula Sue Sorrow, 61, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012.

She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Sue Powell. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Shirley Sorrow; a daughter, Murdis Denise Sorrow; and son, George Fred Sorrow.

Survivors include children, Lynn (Tony) Barner, Carol (Steve) Gee, Bernice Edwards, Candy (Todd) Sorrow, and Nathaniel (Kim) Sorrow; sisters, Sandra Quarles and Della Morgan; brother, Ricky Powell;10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 2, at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, November 2, at the funeral home.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Madison Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
