BRASELTON - W.C. Hosch, 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Paul and Gertrude Cronic Hosch. He was a retired carpenter and plumber. Mr. Hosch was a member of the Church of Hoschton and was a former deacon of Hoschton Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army and was a Fireboard member for the West Jackson Fire Department for 25 years. Mr. Hosch was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Cedelia Reynolds Hosch; and a daughter, Janice Gayle Hosch.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Hosch, Braselton; grandson, Christopher Miccoli, Braselton; and great-grandson, Dylan Miccoli.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Ricky Thrasher, John Carpenter and the Rev. Cory Sexton officiating. The burial will follow in the Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Hoschton. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 31, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1720 Epps Bridge Pkwy., Suite 108-383, Athens, GA 30606

Dear Linda: I am so sorry for your loss. You were very lucky to have had a father like W.C. I never heard of him stealing a car or making liquor and selling it. What a great father her was! He will have a special place in heaven, you can be assured. May God's spirit be with you, Linda.
