‘Mike’ Wheeler (10-24-12)

MAYSVILLE – Maurice “Mike” Allen Wheeler Jr., born on April 11, 1978, was unexpectedly lifted into the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at the young age of 34.

Originally from Ft. Myers, Fla., he had been a resident of Maysville for the past four years. He was a devoted and loving husband and father who worked very hard to provide the best for his family. He was a welder by trade and worked for Patriot Crane and Hoist, Inc., in which he proclaimed to be the best company he has ever worked for.

Mike was an avid outdoorsman. He truly loved spending all his free time with his family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone need. Mike will remain in the hearts and memories of all of the lives he touched. He will be tremendously missed by all of his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kimberly Anne Wheeler; three children, Kaylah Fawn, Aubrey William and Brandon Vance; sisters, Mariea Perez, Malanie Smith, and Shawna Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 30, at 3 p.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Hogan officiating.
