Anthony Vento (10-19-12)

HOMER - Anthony Vento, 67, passed away at his residence on Friday, October 19, 2012.

Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Anthony John and Mary Pampeno Vento. He was married to Carolyn Saunders Vento of the residence. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and served in Vietnam.

Survivors in addition to his wife include children, Kathryn Vento, Carnesville, David Vento, Homer, and Todi Vento King, Commerce; grandchildren, Chelsey Flynn, Nicholas Flynn and Aaron Vento; sisters, Carol Daver, Mary (Jay) Lott and Darlene (Phil) Whittle; uncle, Angelo (Sally) Vento; aunts, Louise Costa and Helen (Bud) Powers; several nieces and nephews; many many cousins; and close friends, Kevin Cape, Don Scales, Winfred Popphan and Clarence Simpson.

Mr. Vento was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
