COMMERCE - Charles Edward Pruitt, 82, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Banks County, the son of the late Lon and Della Carlan Pruitt. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a car salesman at James Short Ford.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Butler Pruitt, Commerce; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Tracy Vitug, Commerce; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Mike Cleveland and Jocelyn and Bart Walker, all of Commerce; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, October 15, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
