Joseph Mogensen (9-29-12)

FLOWERY BRANCH - Joseph Edward Mogensen, 56, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

He was born March 1, 1956, the son of Rose Mogensen and the late Edward Mogensen in Brainerd, Minn. He attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Due to Joe's strong character, passion for life, and his determination, he led a full and happy life. He loved the outdoors, sports and most of all fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Mogensen, Flowery Branch; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Dawn Klyczek, Tampa Bay, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Penelope and Scott Wargo, Flowery Branch; brother and sister-in-law, John and Brenda Mogensen of Brainerd, Minn.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dianne and Jack Britton, Joan and Mike Olson, Sue and Craig Maske, and Nancy and Duane Lawton, all of Brainerd, Minn.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 3 p.m., Thursday, October 4, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Father Eric Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
