Willie Belle Pettyjohn Strickland, 95, of Toccoa, died Saturday, September 20, 2008, at the Heritage Healthcare of Toccoa.

Born in Walker County on December 14, 1912, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Strickland Pettyjohn.
Mrs. Strickland was the mother of Margie and Albert Ward of Commerce.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 22, at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acre-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Jim Nelson officiating.

Acree-Davis Funeral Home, Toccoa, was in charge of arrangements.
