Nettie Greene (9-24-12)

JEFFERSON - Nettie Pinson "Hunsinger" Greene, 63, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012.

Born in Jefferson, she was the daughter of the late William Worth and Annie Dell Pharr Pinson. Mrs. Greene was a secretary and receptionist for several doctors and health care facilities in and around Jefferson and was a member of Academy Baptist Church. Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Frank Hunsinger; and a brother, Robert Worth Pinson.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jesse Sheriff, Powder Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Worth and Jennifer Hunsinger, Lee Summitt, Mo.; sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Tabby Love, Jefferson; grandchildren, Kelsey Sheriff, Sydney Payne, Georgia Hunsinger, and Charlotte Hunsinger; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 28, at 1 p.m. at Thyatira Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Eric Shelton officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, September 28, from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Those honored as pallbearers will be Tabby Love, Kevin Love, Kendall Love, and Charlie Howington.
