DANIELSVILLE - Halee Nicole Shelton, 19, passed away early Thursday morning, September 20, 2012, at the Athens Regional Medical Center.
Halee is now "in the arms of angels."
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of Sharon Wilkes of Danielsville and the late James Edward Shelton. She was preceded in death by her sister, Amanda Michelle Shelton; an uncle, Gary Wilkes; grandparents, Charles Daniel, Jr. and Mary Frances Wilkes; and great-grandparents, Henry Grady and Zadie Bell Forrester.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her boyfriend, Tony Charles Schroder, Danielsville; grandmother, Alma Jean Shelton, Danielsville; great-grandmother, Mildred Ashworth, Hull; uncles and aunts, Mike (Joy) Shelton, Winterville, John Thomas Ashworth, North Carolina, Betty Warren, Watkinsville, Stephen Wilkes, Athens, Charlie (Janie) Wilkes, Ila, Jeanne Pratt, Florida, John (Janice) Wilkes, Bogart, and Stanley (Donna) Wilkes, Ila; great-aunt and uncle, Mae and Frank Forrester; and numerous cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, September 23, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Danielsville with the Revs. Rick Lewis and Larry Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Colbert City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, September 22, from 7 to 9 p.m.

She will be missed by all who knew her. But she is in a much much better place now.To be absent from earth is to be present with God. Heaven has aquired another beaitiful angel
