Brandon Miller

Brandon Douglas Miller, 25, of Athens, formerly of Snellville, died Thursday, September 18, 2008.

He was the son of Marty Dawson of Snellville and Tracy Castillo of Jefferson. He was a 2003 graduate of South Gwinnett High School, where he participated in football, track and field, and wrestling. He attended the University of West Georgia for two years and was preparing to enroll at the University of Georgia. Brandon worked part-time at Loco’s of Athens and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Snellville.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include a grandmother, Rebecca Hampton, Jerusalem; great-grandmother, Myra Eskew, Fairmount; uncles, Shane Martenn, Atlanta, and Troy Hampton, Meansville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Dr. John R. Reale officiating. Burial will be in Evans Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, September 19, from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
