JEFFERSON - Rachel Louise Massey, 81, died Saturday, September 8, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Commerce, the daughter of the late Diamond Trough and Mary Hester Minish Evans. She was retired from SCT Yarns. Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Donald Massey.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Joyce Massey, Jefferson; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Mike Dalton, Maysville; son, Larry Martin, Hollywood; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, September 10, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Jessie Mealor officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens.
