JEFFERSON – Shirley Sue Rucker died Sunday, September 2, 2012.
She was a lifelong resident of Jefferson attending Jackson County Schools. She worked at Zaxby’s.
Survivors include Grady Damons; father, Eddie Hopkins; two daughters, Cassandra Ann and LaVette Young; a son, Wayne Damons; brothers, James Hopkins, Ricky and Ken Cox; and sisters, Sharon Smith, Chris Allen and Diane Randolph.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6, at 1 p.m. in Maxey Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Forestglen Mortuary, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
