Hazel Frances Cook, 89, of Winder, died Monday, May 26, 2008.
She was born in Jackson County and was the daughter of the late Cleve and Annie Lee Baird Forrester. She was a member of Winder First Baptist Church and was from retired Griffin Campus of the University of Georgia as a secretary. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest B. Cook; and a son, Ernest Terry Cook; and a sister, Doris Forrester.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Louise Forrester, Winder.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 28, at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Lester Hall and Dr. John Talley officiating. Burial was in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Winder First Baptist Church Building Fund.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
