Dorothy “Dot” Lorraine Musgrave, 87, of Braselton, formerly of Lexington, N.C., died Tuesday, September 16, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Alvin Hoyle Musgrave; and a granddaughter, Tammy Elrod. She was a homemaker and was Baptist. Mrs. Musgrave was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved to spoil her great-grandchildren, loved ones stated.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Danny Elrod; granddaughters and spouse, Julie and Jason Keinat, Angie Elrod; great-grandchildren, Taylor Keinat and Madi Keinat, all of Braselton; and several close cousins.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 19, at 9 a.m., at Gwinnett Memorial Park with the Rev. Clarence Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 18, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Those desiring may make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the American Cancer Society.
