LULA - George Wallace Reidling, 90, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at New Horizons West Nursing Home.
He was born in Jackson County, the son of the late James H. and Grace King Reidling. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of White Hall Baptist Church. He had worked as a projectionist for the Sky View Drive In and Lanier Drive In. Mr. Reidling was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Reidling; and a grandson, John Adams.
Survivors include daughters, Terry and Joan Adams, Lula, Terry and Wanda Davis, Murrayville; brother, James Reidling, Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Randolph Stinchcomb, Winder; sister, Irene Bentley, Florida; grandchildren, April Vandiver, Michael Davis, and Adam Davis.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 16, in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in White Hall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
