Nellie C. Broach, 93, Nicholson, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
A native of Walton County, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Brown Criswell. She was a member of Nicholson Baptist Church and was a retired clerk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Broach.
Survivors include a daughter, Rita Golden, Nicholson, daughter and son-in-law, Judy and William Hanley Jr.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Armour, the Rev. Terry Smith and the Rev. Danny Sorrell officiating. Burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Monroe.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
