Buck McDaniel (7-24-12)

WINDER – Buck William McDaniel, 47, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

Born in Winder, he was the son of Royce and Shirley Nix McDaniel of Winder. He was a self-employed carpenter and an ordained Baptist minister.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a son, Kyle William (Shannon) Gibson, Cornelia; daughters, Casey LeAnn McDaniel, Winder, and Kelly E. (Wesley) King, Alto; grandchildren, Zech King, Calebe King and Kaiti Beth Gibson; brothers, Terry McDaniel, Arnoldsville, and Steve McDaniel, Hull; and sisters, Millie Davis, Susan McDaniel and Donna Fowler, all of Winder, and Tammy Whisnant, Jefferson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 27, at 2 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Lamar Kastner and Joel Shadburn officiating. Burial will be at Revival Baptist Church Cemetery in Braselton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, July 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
