AUBURN – Hugh Alan Morris, 56, died Friday, July 20, 2012.
Born in Augusta, he was the son of Dorothy Morris of Canton. He was a technician who worked in facility service for Publix. He practiced the Baptist faith.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Sheila Morris, Auburn; sons, Jason Alan Morris and wife Sarah, Auburn; stepson, Richard Garrett and wife Casey, Hiawassee; daughters, Jennifer Heller and husband Joe, Loganville; stepdaughter, Shawanda Hinchliffe and husband Gary, Winder; brother, Jeff Morris, Gainesville; sister, Elaine Wright, Canton, and Darlene Brice, Tucker; and four grandchildren, Logan, Parker, Rylee and Sarah.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, at 2 p.m. from Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, July 24, from 12 to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Liver Foundation.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
