Ralph Randall ‘Randy’ Green (7-20-12)

DANIELSVILLE - Ralph Randall “Randy” Green, 62, husband of Cathy Timm Green, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012.

He was the son of the late Milligan George and Jonnie B. (Redd) Green.

Randy was a decorated Vietnam veteran. He served in the United Stated Marine Corps, having earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. He was a member of the American Legion and a lifetime member of the VFW.

Survivors include his wife; sister, Cheryl G. Cleghorne; two nieces, Toni (George) Phillips, Amber (Terrance) Thompson; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; dear friends, Linda Palmer and Ben Truitt; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, July 23, at Bernstein Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at The Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter.

Bernstein Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
