Lisa Jacobs (7-7-12)

COMMERCE - Lisa Lord Jacobs, 51, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, July 7, 2012.

She was born in Commerce, the daughter of Larry and Louise Lord. Lisa worked in the Extended Day Program at Liberty Pines Academy in St. Johns County, Fla. She loved spending time with her family and was a devoted member of Swiss Cove Christian Church, where she served the Lord alongside her husband, Jim.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband of over 30 years, Jim Jacobs; a son, Matthew Jacobs and his wife, Kay; daughter, Kristen Jacobs; brother, Lowell Lord and his wife, Valarie; along with many other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 13, at Galilee Christian Church with a reception immediately following at the church. At 5 p.m. the reception will end, and the family and those who would like to attend will have a burial service at Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, July 12, from 6 to 8 p.m.
