Elsie Smith Spratlin, 85, died September 12, 2008.

A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Bud and Susie Tolbert Smith and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Leonard Spratlin. Mrs. Spratlin retired from the University of Georgia and was a member of Hull Baptist Church.

Funeral services were Monday, September 15, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Hull Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Burial was in the Hull Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her son, Travis Spratlin of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.

Lord and Stephens, EAST, was in charge of arrangements.
