JEFFERSON – Charles “Charlie” Walter Webb, 70, died Saturday, July 7, 2012.
Born in Dublin, he was the son of the late Delmas Linder and Mary Beckham Webb. He was a member of the Jefferson First United Methodist Church, was a United States Army veteran, and worked for Feldman and Associates. He earned an associate degree in industrial engineering from Southern Tech.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Shields Webb, Jefferson, a son, James Christopher Webb; brother, Buddy Webb, Atlanta; and a sister, Lucy Markwalter, Macon.
Memorial contributions may be made to Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support, 1199 Prince Ave., Athens, GA 30606.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
