JEFFERSON - Onnie Mae “Polly” Marlow Covington, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012.
She was born in Jackson County, the daughter of the late C.E. "Charlie" and Donnie Mae Sims Marlow. Mrs. Covington retired from Jefferson Mills, where she was a spinner. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Coleman, Jefferson; son, Danny Covington, Pendergrass; grandchildren, Wendi Allen, Stacey (Kerry) Gheesling and Tracey (Jeremy) Stevens; great-grandchildren, Avery Stevens, Morgan Stevens, and Kerry Gheesling; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday July 7, at 10 a.m. at Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday July 6, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry for our loss.My Aunt Polly will be missed by everyone as,she was a part of our lives for a long time.Although I didn't see her for quite some time,I have videos of all of our good times at Birthdays and other celebrations,as well as seeing her at some bad time too ! LOVE TO ALL...Mark
