Florence Royston (6-28-12)

DANIELSVILLE – Florence Berthene (Peeples) Royston, 77, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at her residence.

Born on May 19, 1935, in Royston, she was the daughter of the late Hasker and Lutrelle (Hanley) Peeples. She was a loom operator with TNS Mills and was a member of Franklin Springs Baptist Church and the Jones Chapel Methodist Church. Mrs. Royston was preceded in death by her husband, George “Junior” Royston Jr.

Survivors include daughters, Barbara Amanda Royston, Danielsville, and Mary Bernice Griffeth, Savannah; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 30, at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial was in the Franklin Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
