JEFFERSON - Annette Joan Johns (Kennel), 54, died Monday, June 25, 2012, following a battle with breast cancer.
Born June 15, 1958, she was the daughter of Jack R. and Mary A. Kennel. She lived most of her life in Dayton, Ohio, and had lived in Jefferson for the last two years. Her move to Georgia gave her much happiness and she made many dear friends.
She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church. Her last job was at Bentley Assisted Living, a job she found very rewarding.
Survivors include sons, Mark Allen and Jacob Emmanuel, both of Jefferson; sisters, Angela (John) Miller, Centerville, Ohio, and Angeline (William) Marshall, Jefferson; nephews, William (Billy) Marshall, and John (Johnny) Miller; nieces, Sarah Marshall and Debbie Bishop.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Otto Mercuri (Butch).
There will be a mass and memorial Friday, June 29, at 7 p.m. at St. Catherine Laboure Church. Final resting place will be Calvery Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio.

Annette will be greatly missed by all her family and friends, but she is finally at peace in heaven.
