Dot Parkerson (6-25-12)

JEFFERSON - Dot Parkerson, 74, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012.

Survivors include children, Tom and Tracy Parkerson, Commerce, and Charles Dewitt Parkerson, Jr., Lawrenceville; brothers, Chandler and Emily Pittman, Nicholson, and Rex Pittman, Auburn; sisters, Edna Adams, Bethlehem, Judy Cook, Lawrenceville, and Joyce and Billy Pealock, Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Taylor Parkerson and Jessica Parkerson; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 28, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Dispain will officiate. Burial will be in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Rd., SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research, 4840 Roswell Rd., Atlanta, GA 30342.

Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, is in charge of arrangements.
