William Crumley (6-22-12)

COMMERCE – William D. Crumley, 92, died Friday, June 22, 2012, at his residence.

Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late William Walker and Ida Lee Brown Crumley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Elizabeth Haynes Crumley.

Survivors include children, Lourenda Kennedy, Norcross, Janice Lynn and Alisa Crumley, both of Commerce, and William Connley Crumley, Maysville; siblings, Loretta Barnes, Maysville, Ada Hammond and Dennie Sears, both of Commerce, Brenda Smith and Wayne (Dicky) Crumley, both of Ila; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 24, from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Donald Wilson and Jerry Smith officiating. Burial was in the Grey Hill Cemetery.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
