JEFFERSON - Phillip Payne "Pete" Gaddis, 54, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012.

He was born in Winder, the son of the late Carl Edward Gaddis and Mary Alice Payne Gaddis Norris. Mr. Gaddis worked for Porter Insulation as an installer and was a member of the Academy Baptist Church. His brother, Rusty Gaddis, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Tonya Bullock Gaddis, Jefferson; daughter, Ashley Marie Gaddis, Hayesville, N.C.; and son, Phillip Alvin (Allison) Gaddis, Hayesville, N.C.; and a sister, Patricia Gaddis Pulliam, Royston.

A memorial service was held Sunday, June 24, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Shelton officiating.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
