Joyce Fellows (6-21-12)

PENDERGRASS - Joyce Fellows, 62, passed away at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at her residence.

She was born Joyce Ann Nurrenbern on December 21, 1949 in Mount Vernon, Ind., the daughter of the late Elmer and Carolyn (Riner) Nurrenbern, who survives. On May 29, 1971, she married Garvin A. Fellows II in Evansville, Ind.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Garvin; three children, Derek (Peggi) Fellows, Lawrenceville, Aaron (Amber) Fellows, Ellettsville, Ind., and Tonya (Mark) Wassel, Concord, N.C.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (John) Gray, Janet (Patrick) Dunigan; and a brother, Glenn (Bea) Nurrenbern, all of Indiana.

Joyce graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1967. She attended Indiana State University, and was then employed by George Koch and Sons in Evansville.

She moved to Lawrenceville, in 1994 and worked at Medaphis for six years and Gwinnett Medical Center for 12 years before retiring in February 2012. She was a member of St. Catherine LaBoure Catholic Church in Jefferson.
