John Rylee (6-18-12)

MAYSVILLE - John Francis Rylee, 86, died Monday, June 18, 2012, at Brighter Mornings.

He was the son of the late Wilkie and Lily Smith Rylee. Mr. Rylee was a member of Gillsville Baptist Church and was a retired mailman and farmer. Mr. Rylee was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Sorrells Rylee.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Rylee, Maysville; daughter and son-in-law, Claudia Leach (Ronnie), Maysville; grandchildren, Lisa Rylee, John Taylor Rylee, and Melanie Halski (Lew); great-grandchildren, Lanie Halski, Jason Halski, and John Michael Rylee.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 20 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 19, from 6 to 8 p.m.
