Martha Ida Tyner (6-14-12)

COLBERT - Martha Ida Tyner, 86, died Thursday, June 14, 2012.

A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. D.H. Kesler, Sr. and Mammie Pritchett Kesler. Mrs. Tyner is preceded in death by her husband William Dwaine Tyner; and a grandchild, Lee Tyner.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth D. Tyner, Mark K. Tyner, and Grant W. Tyner; a brother, Rev. Dennis Kesler; sisters, Ruth Hill, Bonnie Kennimer, Runell Thaxton, Ollie Ramey, and Mary Sapp; 12 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 17, at 2 p.m. at Crossroads Church with the Revs. Morris Sapp and Dennis Kesler officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, June 16, from 6 to 8 p.m.
