WINDER - Charles E. Husted, 54, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012.
He was the son of Charles and Geraldine Husted of Winder and was a graduate of Mt. Upton High School in Mt. Upton, N.Y. Mr. Husted moved to Georgia in 1996, where he worked in the family business, Husted Milk Hauling. He was a member of Auburn Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie Husted, Winder; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Charles Puckett, Auburn; daughter, Alice Husted, Winder; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Christine Husted, Sherburne, N.Y., David and Penny Husted, Mt. Upton, N.Y.; granddaughter, Angel Puckett, Auburn; and mother-in-law, Rosalie Beckwith, Winder.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 16, at 4 p.m., from Auburn Church of God with Pastor Morris Hansard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkinson’s Disease Association, 1365 Clifton Rd., Atlanta, GA 30322; American Cancer Society, Gwinnett County Unit, 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 260, Duluth, GA 30097; or Amedisys Hospice, 575 Old Norcross Rd., Suite J, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
