COMMERCE – Rita Jo Howington Chreiman, 62, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at her residence.
Born in Asheville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Verner and Elizabeth Standridge Howington. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Gary.
Survivors include her husband, Von Carl Chreiman, Commerce; daughter, Carmen Gary, Commerce; granddaughter, Christie (Chris) Thomas, Jefferson; and a great-granddaughter, Amberly Thomas.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 16, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Interment (cremains) will follow in the Cabin Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the service.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
