DANIELSVILLE - Pauline Lord Seagraves, 98, died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Athens Heritage.
A native of Ila, she was the daughter of the late Thurston and Lucy Sorrow Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Seagraves; daughter, Lucy Elizabeth Seagraves; son, Cecil Seagraves; four brothers; and two sisters. She was a housewife and had attended Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, James R. Seagraves, Watkinsville, Dewey Roy Seagraves, Danielsville, and Troy Seagraves, Danielsville; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 3, at Union Baptist Church Cemetery at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Robbie Brown and Mr. Otis Graham officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday, June 2.
Flowers will be accepted.
