JEFFERSON - Larry William Turner, 66, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012.
He was born in Leesburg, Va., the son of the late Reginald W. and Beluah Costello Turner. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired from TenCate in Pendergrass.
Survivors include his wife, Joan B. Turner, Jefferson; daughter, Marty Michelle Turner; sons, Brian Turner and Reginald W. Turner, Dawsonville; sisters, Sharon M. Jenkins, Vienna, Va., and Gina Loner, Griffin; stepdaughter, Darlene B. Tanner, Buford; step-grandsons, Neil Gustafson, Hiawassee, Jared Tanner, Haysville, N.C., and Jace Tanner, Haysville, N.C.; two great-grandchildren, Dawson and Paisley Gustafson; and a number of other relatives.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday May 29, at 7 p.m. from Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eric Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the hour of the service on Tuesday.
