Joey Foster (5-24-12)

GAINESVILLE - Joey Foster, 37, passed away in a trucking accident on Thursday, May 24, 2012.

Joey was born June 15, 1974, the son of the late Donald and Nelda Jo Foster. He was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #1. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his two daughters.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Donna Foster, Gainesville; daughters, Macy and Karly Foster, Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Donna Foster, Flowery Branch, Tonk and Debbie Foster, Mebanc, N.C., and Danny and Candi Foster, Fleming Island, Fla.; brother, Kenneth Foster, Alamosa, Colo.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra Lynn and John Washington, Warrior, Ala., and Robin and Tommy Bryant, Murrayville; sisters, Sandra Jo Truelove, Clermont, and Sherry Cavender, Clermont; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, at Dewberry Baptist Church #1 with interment following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Henry Loggins and Robby Foster will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 28, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
