William Hollis Winkie, 70, of Winterville, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; children, Cassandra, John, Billy, Jonathan, Hughie, Tracy and Amanda; and eleven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 7, at World of Life Church. Burial was in Colbert City Cemetery.

Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
