MAYSVILLE – Larry J. Bonner, 65, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, following an extended illness.
Born in Hall County, he was the son of the late William Deaver and Mary Hazel Dale Bonner.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Hunter Bonner, Maysville; a daughter, Cindy Bonner (Tim) Harkins, Maysville; grandchildren, Courtney Harkins and Bethany Harkins, both of Maysville; siblings, William D. Bonner, Flowery Branch, Shirley Ransom, Murrayville, and Margaret Romans, Gainesville; half-siblings, Chris Bonner, Waymon Bonner, Louie Bonner, and Jenny Smallwood; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 25, at 2 p.m., from the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Maysville with the Rev. Swayne Carlan and Joey Nicholson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 23, and Thursday, May 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., and at other times at the home of Tim and Cindy Harkins located at 570 Dixon Bridge Rd. in Maysville.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

Daddy you was a great person who would do anything for anybody we miss you so much all of this still seems unreal but I know you are having a great time in heaven with all your friends and family...I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
