Dennis Sobkowiak (5-20-12)

DANIELSVILLE - Dennis Lee Sobkowiak, 69, died Sunday, May 20, 2012.

A native of La Crosse, Wisc., he was a son of the late Melvin and Ruby Sobkowiak. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kutch; son, Allen Lee Kutch and daughter-in-law, Viki Kutch. He retired from Chrysler Automotive and has lived in this area for ten years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagle Club and was of the Catholic denomination.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Sobkowiak; children, Robert E. Kutch, Jr. and wife Sonja, Richard J. Kutch and wife Tracy, Melissa A. Kennedy and husband Danniel, Andrew Kutch and wife Lori, Melinda Bartley and husband Brian; sister, Bonnie Taylor and husband Gary; brother, Ricky Sobkowiak; 23 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23, at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Lord & Stephens, Danielsville. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 26, at 12 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park, Terre Haute, Ind. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, Georgia and Mattox-Ryan Funeral Home, Terre Haute, Indiana are in charge of arrangements.
