Elizabeth Huff Echols, 70, of Carlton, died Saturday, August 30, 2008.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Edie Yearby and Terry Huff. She was employed at Athens Heritage Nursing Home for 47 years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Echols; daughter, Martha Echols; sister, Pauline Head; one grandson; one great-grandson; two step-daughters; one step-brother; nephew raised in the home, Carl huff; and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held September 4, 2008 at New Bethlehem Baptist Church. Interment in the church cemetery.
Jones Lexington Funeral Chapel, Lexington, was in charge of arrangements.
