Thomas Huff Jr. (5-19-12)

WINDER – Thomas Ellis Huff Jr. died Saturday, May 19, 2012.

Born in Clarke County, he was the son of the late Ellis and Eddie Bell Huff. He was a member of Peoples Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Huff was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Huff; and sister, Ann Melton.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Teal Huff, Winder; son and daughter-in-law, David and Theresa Huff, Oklahoma; daughters and sons-in-law, Tona and Ken Duym, Winder, and Dawn and Terry Hardigree, Loganville; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Gerald Cowan, Loganville, Gayle and Ronnie Powell, Jackson, and Lynn and Mike Baughcum, Statham.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23, at 2 p.m. from Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Joel Shadburn and Gene Sharpton officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, May 22, from 5 to 8 p.m.
