DANIELSVILLE – Mary Evelyn Hardigree Sargent, 71, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012, at her residence.
Born in Barrow County on August 30, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John Hardigree and the late Jurleean Dillard Cauldwell. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Sargent was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wayne Sargent and stepfather, John Newman Cauldwell.
Survivors include her children, Vonnie (Danny) Baker, Colbert, Wayne (Robin) Coker, Homer, Reggie Coker, Bowman, and Wendell (Linda) Coker, Ila; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Anglin officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowers Memorial Gardens in Canon, Ga.
The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, May 16. The family is at the home.
