COMMERCE - Johnny Anderson, 73, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at his residence.
He was born in Homer, the son of the late Charlie and Sarria Mize Anderson. He was a retired electrician.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Smith Anderson, Commerce; daughters, Yvonne Smith, Conyers, Lynn Ayers, Homer, Celia Wooten and Nancy Anderson, both of Commerce; sons, Marvin Wooten, Commerce, Phillip Anderson, Jefferson, Steven Wooten, Flowery Branch, and David Anderson, North Carolina; brother, Swayne Anderson, Commerce; sister, Allene Sears, Homer; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Vandiver officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night, May 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family request to omit flowers and make contributions to Harmony Baptist Church, 5228 Hwy. 441 N., Baldwin, GA 30511.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

You are an amazing man and will be greatly missed but you touched SO many lives that you will live on forever in all of our hearts! We love you and grandma and will be here always for grandma she will be taken care of always!!!! RIP Papa we love you .........
